Speaking directly on air, Casas addressed her relationship status with total normalcy to clear up immediate media speculation. She clarified that the separation was entirely amicable, attributing the end of the romance to a lack of romantic progression rather than an active conflict.
“When you are getting to know someone, it either becomes something more serious or you remain friends,” Casas stated during the broadcast. “I didn’t see anything further; I was missing that spark (ese pum). He is a wonderful guy, and we get along very well.”
A Brief Summer Romance
The separation comes roughly one month after the public first learned of the relationship. In late June, media outlets published photographs of Casas alongside González, a 50-year-old real estate investor and head of Grupo Montana, enjoying a summer holiday in Ibiza.
At the time, the relationship generated significant social media commentary due to perceived physical similarities between González and Casas’s former partner, Álvaro Muñoz Escassi. Casas consistently dismissed those comparisons in subsequent press encounters, maintaining that González is a private individual who intends to remain out of the public eye.
